enable Traffic washer to be shut down when the specified ID's are not in use

I don't like apps hogging resources when not in use

Block form submissions

Block form submissions containing matching words, ideally - like surname, street name, etc. - but if not that then a button to block all form submissions. I would want this to apply even to whitelisted sites.

Allow embedded objects for whitelisted sites.

I would like my son to be able to use a whitelisted aggregator site - like, for example, y3.com, or any of the multitude of youtube aggregators - and view material embedded in site HTML. However, I don't want him to be able to browse beyond the...

Allow bandwidth limiting (slowing down/limiting connection speed), just in case the internet is needed for work

It would help if the parent was working at home or in a library, the bandwidth was rather limited.

add element blocking for black listed items

for example a site you visit regularly has ads that are on the black list. even though the site doesn't have that content then the software would block the site based off the misplaced ads

Disable internet access if process has been disabled in task manager

You can easily end the process in task manager, allowing unrestricted access.

Try it yourself to kill our process in the Task manager - it does not matter and anyway your child will be under controlling of our filtering service.

Get a login for the program

Each time you open the program you have to enter a username/password. That way your children can't change the settings without knowing the password.

You set up the password while the first program start. And only who knows this password can change the program settings in the future.

Add user-specific configurations.

Some users need different settings than others; I would like ad blocking and blacklist, my son would need a whitelist, my younger daughter needs a more restrictive whitelist. Hours for each of us differ dramatically. :) We already log in as...

of course you can do it!
simply create several user's profiles and specify the different settings for these profiles. And then drag and drop the users to the appropriate profiles on the 'Program settings' tab in TrafficWasher.
